a 005-ös lista a 007-esekről

ezek a leges-legfaszább bond-dalok szerintem. mivel nekem bond brosnan és a 90-es évek, ezért a nagy kedvenceim ebből a korszakból valók. persze tagadhatatlan, hogy régebben azért eléggé menő előadók csapatták a bulit, tom jones-tól shirley bassey-ig, azért őket nem hagynám ki.
érdekes módon a 90-es évek eléggé pazar volt bond-dalok szempontjából.

egyébként itt van egy szuper-remek összeállítás a dalokból, egy sokkal részletesebb listával.
van benne duran duran, tom jones, gladys night, és egy csomó olyan dal, amikor még nem slágereket írtak eladásra, hanem filmzenéket, szuperek egyébként. érdemes bele-bele hallgatni a régiekbe.
mondjuk hogy adele a 2., azzal egyáltalán nem értek egyet, azzal meg végképp, hogy sam smith hóttunalmas dala egyáltalán a listán van (pedig én igazán szeretem a fiút, de ez egy elhibázott dalocska lett).
ez pedig a rolling stone magazin összeállítása. miért szereti mindenki ennyire a skyfallt?! :/



5. jack white és alicia keys - another way to die: 2008
nem egy klasszik bond-dal, illetve inkább úgy mondom, hogy erősen érződik rajta white lenyomata, mert ezt ő írta és producálta, és ez persze szuperjó. bond-dalként nem aratott nagy sikert, pont azért, mert ez egy jack white dal, nem bond theme.





4. shirley bassey - diamonds are forever: foreveeer forever foreveeeeer 1971
hestegennyikeh. A bond dal. shirley ezen kívül '64-ben a goldfingert énekelte (zseni az is), és '79-ben a moonraker theme-dalát is. az is eléggé patent.







3. tina turner - goldeneye: It's a gold and honey trap 1995.
mit mondhatnék mást: tina. a dalt bono (BLŐ) és the edge írták neki, és a 17. bond filmhez készült.






2. garbage - the world is not enough: a robbanó shirley 1999.
jó, elfogult vagyok, imádom a  garbage-ot. a dalt a bond-dalok házi szerzőgárdája írta egyébként, és külön vették fel  a sávokat és a zenekari részt európa különböző városaiban, míg a garbage a version 2.0-val turnézott, majd vancouverben készült a final verzió, mert jogi okok miatt amerikai stúdióban nem rögzíthették (érdekes).





1. sheryl crow - tomorrow never dies: martinis, girls and guns 1997.
a dal az 1997-es, 18. bond-filmhez, a holnap markában címűhöz készült. sheryl hangja tökéletes, iszonyúan illik a dalhoz, ami pedig szuperül van megírva, remek szöveggel.
a dalt 12 pályázó közül választották ki, közöttük volt pl. a pulp is, ami azért kemény. az ő daluk is (help the aged címen) felkerült a soundtrackre.  k.d. lang - surrender című dalát is felhasználták végül az end krediteknél, ez volt a 4. olyan bond film, ahol a két dal a film elején és végén nem egyezik.






madonna majdnem belekerült, de nem. egy top 10-be lehet beraktam volna. mondjuk az sem egy klasszik szimfonikus bond-nyitó, hanem popszám, de nem rossz.

a gummo egyébként harmony korine (tudjátok, a kids-zel lett oly híres) egy 1997-es filmje. én a kids-től nem voltam elájulva, de a gummoban nagyon szépen ábrázolja ezt a fülledt, büdös, koszos kilátástalanságot egy apró redneck amerikai faluban. (+ chloe sevigny is játszik benne, aki mindig remek)

And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young, prices were reasonable, politicians were noble, and children respected their elders. Respect your elders. Don't expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund. Maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse. But you never know when either one might run out. Don't mess too much with your hair or by the time you're 40 it will look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
